Mandy loves to sing and dance and thrives on making music and having lots of fun with her Music Together families!

Jess Glasser is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She holds a B.A. in German from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Hawaii. She danced ballet and tap as a child and is currently studying piano. She attended her first Music Together class in San Diego when her son was four months old and instantly fell in love with the research-based program, its philosophical approach, and all the musical tools she gained in her new parent toolbox. She completed the Music Together teacher training in October 2017 and is thrilled to be leading  classes for Tri Star Music Together.

Steve was introduced to Music Together as a parent in 2013. Inspired by its philosophy and teaching methods, he trained to become a Music Together teacher in 2014 and began teaching his own Music Together classes shortly thereafter. In 2017, he was awarded Music Together Certification Level I status.  In addition to being a Music Together teacher, Steve gives private lessons to children and adults in guitar, ukulele, bass, songwriting, and music theory.  Steve performs regularly with a number of musical groups along the east coast, including the popular DC-based children’s band King Bullfrog.

Steve majored in languages and linguistics at Georgetown University, where he also studied music theory and choral literature. Upon graduating, he moved to New York City, where he worked primarily in film and television production.  In 2009, he moved back to DC, to Capitol Hill, where he lives with his wife and three children, Eliza (8), Ben (6) and Mimi (3).
